Our Programs
Preschool and Kindergarten
We offer full time, part time and half day programs for children ages 2 years through Kindergarten. Our school runs on an academic calendar beginning in September and ends in May. A week to week themed Montessori Summer Camp is available during the summer months for 12 weeks.
Primary
The Pre-primary & Primary Montessori classroom is for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Children are free to move about the classroom and choose their work from among the self-correcting materials displayed on open shelves, and they work in specific work areas. Over a period of time, the children develop into a "normalized community," working with high concentration and few interruptions. Each child works at his or her own pace and is guided to reach their greatest potential.
Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Montessori Classroom year is a time when many of the prior lessons studied come together and become an enduring part of a young child’s knowledge. Many children enter the Montessori classroom as a novice and the Montessori Kindergarten year is their time to become an expert in all areas. Each child continues to set the pace for his or her own education and developmental growth. We guide and facilitate them into becoming true leaders in the community.

We offer a unique physical education program for ages 2 to 6 years.
Our exciting age appropriate games set children up for success.
Games are designed to develop coordination and refine motor skills while building self-confidence.

Art is expression. Art is incorporated into each classroom with crafts, lessons and sensory activities. Naturally fostered and explored through many art forms. No teacher placement or intervening happens here.

Providence Montessori School House music classes feature curricula for musical learning in our classrooms and new musical themes every few weeks.
